Truro Curling Club
​
Established in 1875, the Truro Curling Club has been a cornerstone of the Truro, Nova Scotia community for over a century. The club’s first dedicated building was constructed in 1886, providing a permanent home for local curling enthusiasts.
Throughout its history, the Truro Curling Club has been home to exceptional talent, including Gerald “Gerry” Glinz, a renowned skip who led teams to five Nova Scotia Men’s Championships. Notably, he guided teams to victory at the Truro Curling Club in both 1955 and 1956.
Today, the club continues to thrive, offering five sheets of playing surface and serving as a hub for curling activities in the region. It remains committed to promoting the sport and fostering a sense of community among its members.
